Bento

Our dear friend Michelle has given us Bento boxes (Japanese lunch boxes) and accessories on a couple of occasions. Her generosity has meant that Dellylu and I have the cutest lunch boxes ever. This one has a top layer where the chopsticks and spoon fit.

The next layer has little chipies, pistachios, M&M's and a cookie. Note the cute dividers.

The bottom layer holds 2 tiny sandwiches cut from Turkish bread, one from Viennese loaf, or regular square bread with the crusts cut off and chopped in smaller pieces.

It has a lid and a stretchy band with a flower to hold it together.

It all fits in this bag with a frozen juice popper, frozen yogurt and an apple. We joke that this is a way for adults to stay slim. Only eat what will fit in a bento and watch the weight fall off. Or practice making electronics by fitting the food into the little compartments. Dellylu and I think it's worth the effort. Everyone needs a little kawaii (cute) in their day! Thanks so much Michelle!
