We went to Woodford for a day again this year. My good girlfriends make it so much fun. I know Linda's eyes are closed, but this is the best I could do while watching fireworks in the dark. The lantern parade was beautiful, and we loved the street performers. The girls did a Bollywood dance workshop, and we roamed the streets together. Too much fun.
I remember you mentioning some of your Woodford adventures over the years. Looks like fun! Hubby is an avid supporter of variety arts. We love street performers! Did you get any pics/vids of the dance workshop? I'd like to take the class. Is it only for kids?
ReplyDeleteActually, I had thought there was a pic! I'll edit the post and include it soon. The workshops are for adults, men, women and children. I didn't participate much because my hips were tired after all the walking. In the end, however, I couldn't resist having a little go. We mums had done a burlesque workshop earlier in the day, too.
